NAID Portal for Selling and Listing Brokers, HUD-Approved Nonprofits, and Government Agencies

This NAID Portal may be used only by a Broker, Preparer, or a HUD-Approved Nonprofit. Real estate agents must not use the NAID Portal.

To place a bid on a property and sign a HUD Sales Contract, the Selling Broker must have an active NAID (Name and Address Identifier). Selling Brokers are required to recertify their NAID yearly. This recertification is completed through the NAID Portal system.

Recertify NAID, update the Broker Real Estate License or modify the address
Apply for a new NAID
Replace the Principal Broker on the NAID
Remove your Real Estate License from the NAID
Find the NAID and check the Application Status
Check the NAID Recertification and License Expiration dates
Set up and maintain agents

Note for Nonprofits Applicants: Be sure your IRS Ruling/Determination Letter and your HUD Nonprofit Approval Letter are scanned and ready to upload.

Note for Government Agencies: Be sure to have a ready-to-upload copy of your IRS form showing you are a Government Agency.
